Research/Outreach Areas:
Analysis, design and fabrication of microstrip components; coupled mode analysis
of two and three line microstrip couplers on anisotropic substrates; development
of optical fiber sensors for variable pressure, temperature, corrosion and
electromagnetic field measurement with temperature compensation based on
birefringence and refractive index variation effects in the fibers; optical
fiber communication; Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) and tunable
MUX/DEMUX using acouso-optic cell arrays for DWDM applications; chaotic ring
laser for secured optical communication.
