Remedial Classes for Non-Majors
Students who do not hold a BS degree in Electrical Engineering may enroll in the
MS or Ph.D. Electrical Engineering Program provided that they complete the
remedial classes required by the EE Department. The students will be required to
pass or challenge EE 381 Linear Systems. In addition, they must demonstrate
proficiency in three of the five following areas of specialization by
successfully completing or challenging the corresponding courses or their
equivalents: electromagnetics (EE35l), electronics (EE320, 32l), computers (
EE330, 336), control (EE370, 371), and power (EE361). In some cases, the EE
Graduate Admission Committee may require additional remedial classes.
